ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: COMET LEMMON FROM HIBOU
This was taken from Hibou Conservation Area, just outside of Owen Sound. I wasn't sure how long the clouds would hold, so I took this a bit earlier than ideal for bringing out the tail. The final image is blended with comet data taken further out of town in the early morning of October 16 to better reveal the tail while keeping the stars and comet orientation accurate to the original time and location.
